Sony has launched the 6” Xperia Z Ultra, to compete with the similarly sized Nokia Lumia 1520 which is expected to launch before the end of November.
The phablet is an unusual device. It is too large to be considered a smartphone, and too small to be a tablet. This means that it is either, depending on your view, an oversized and bulky smartphone or too small to be considered a useful tablet computer. Sony has unveiled their new smartphone, the Xpera Z1 which will compete with the likes of the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4. It is waterproof, has a 20.7mp camera, and is set for European release this month.
