RZA says a $5 million offer has been made for one-off Wu-Tang Clan album

Wu-Tang-ClanWu-Tang Clan’s RZA has said that the group have already been offered $5 million (£3,006,070) for their one-off album release.

The hip hop collective recently revealed that they have made just one copy of a new album, ‘The Wu — Once Upon a Time in Shaolin‘, and would be auctioning it off to the highest bidder.

Speaking to Billboard, RZA revealed the highest offer they have had since announcing the record’s release last month: “So far, $5 million is the biggest number.

I don’t know how to measure it, but it gives us an idea that what we’re doing is being understood by some,” he commented. Continue reading

Movie brilliance celebrated at BAFTA’s

It was a great night for British actors and directors, with Gravity and 12 Years a Slave winning the big awards of the night. Frozen pipped Despicable Me 2 and Monsters University to the award for Best Animated Film.

The likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Prince William were all at this year’s ceremony.

Globally, the BAFTA’s are often seen as the warm-up act to the Oscars – the world’s biggest movie awards.
