Most mobile manufacturers seem to be hedging their bets on whether smaller or bigger screens are the way forward and HTC is the latest to throw their hats into both rings. The HTC One has emerged as a strong competitor for the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC looks set to extend the line with a One Mini and a One Maxi.
The HTC One Mini is now rumoured to be ready for a July release although August seems much more likely now. It has the same 4mp UltraPixel camera as the One and its 4.3” screen has a 720 x 1,080p resolution. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz dual core processor and feature 1GB of RAM. The front facing camera is a respectable 1.6MP which makes it quite beneficial for use in video chatting and for fans of selfie photos.
At the other end of the scale, there are rumours circulating regarding an HTC One Max. It will have a 5.9” screen with 1,920 x 1,080 HD screen. It will be powered by an impressively powerful 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and offer 2GB of RAM as well as a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of RAM. It will also have a fairly hefty 3,200mAH batter so you should be able to use it for more than a couple of hours without having to run to your nearest charger.
Mobile Geeks has suggested that the Max will be ready for release in September, which is the same month as the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and potentially a month or so earlier than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
