Remembering Phillip Seymour Hoffman

philip-seymour-hoffmanOne of the greatest actors of his generation, Phillip Seymour Hoffman has sadly passed away at the age of 46.

The Oscar winning father of 3 was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Sunday. It is believed he died of a Heroin overdose.

He had reportedly split from his long term partner of 14 years, the fashion designer Mimi O’Donnell, and was recently spotted at the Sundance Film Festival looking dishevelled and reportedly refused to give interviews.

His portrayal of Truman Capote in the 2005 biopic ‘Capote’ rightfully earned him a Best Actor Oscar.

He is remembered by his remarkable performances both on film and in theatre, and will surely go down as one of the best actors ever.
