There’s been a lot of action in the budget 7” tablet market lately. First, Tesco released the £119 Hudl that they are using to promote their own services like Blinkbox. This was quickly followed by the Argos MyTablet, costing even less at £99 and aimed at the younger generation of potential tablet owners aged between 8 and 13 and coming preinstalled with suitable software and parental controls.
Amazon, who have performed well with their own Kindle Fire range of tablets, have announced that they will be launching a new Kindle Fire HD to compete with this new wave of budget tablets. Continue reading
