Michael Bay a high profile Director and Producer left his audience entirely confused, a reaction generally akin to his action-packed films such as Transformers.
During the Consumer Electronics event in Las Vegas Michael Bay (CES) was being interviewed by Samsung’s executive Joe Stinziano where Bay was supposed to introduce an exciting clip — to be played out on their new Ultra HD TV from his forthcoming sequel to the the Hasbro Robots in Disguise franchise, “Transformers: Age of Extinction” to be will be released on June 27, 2014.
Unfortunately though Michael stumbled his words then walked out of the presentation after apologizing to the audience. Joe Stinziano then asked the audience to give a round of applause as the director headed backstage, but many were left bewildered as to what caused his departure.
The film director’s unusual behavior became a trending topic on social networks after the incident, which he later addressed in a blog entry on his official website.
Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES – I was about to speak for Samsung for this awesome Curved 105-inch UHD TV. I rarely lend my name to any products, but this one is just stellar. I got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the Exec VP’s intro line and then the teleprompter got lost. Then the prompter went up and down – then I walked off. I guess live shows aren’t my thing.
But I’m doing a special curved screen experience with Samsung and Transformers 4 footage that will be traveling around the world.
